Do I need a separate app for parcel delivery?+
No. Parcel delivery is a service inside your same Cabgo app. The customer picks 'Parcel' on open, alongside taxi or delivery. You keep one app, one fleet and one dashboard.
How is a shipment's price calculated?+
By size/weight tiers you define (e.g. Small up to 5 kg, Medium up to 15 kg, etc.), each with its price. The customer picks the tier at request time and the charge is that amount — clear, no surprises.
Can I let customers schedule the pickup?+
Yes. Scheduling is optional per service: the customer picks a date and time and the system dispatches the shipment in the right window.
Can my couriers be the same taxi drivers?+
Yes. A driver enrolls in the services you want (taxi, delivery, parcel). That way you leverage your existing fleet to move packages during off-peak hours.
How long does it take to launch?+
Activating and configuring the service takes minutes from the dashboard. Your branded app is built and published through Cabgo's standard flow.
Does the recipient need the app to track a shipment?+
No. You share a live tracking link that opens in any browser. They see the courier's location in real time without installing anything. They can also get WhatsApp updates.
Can I charge cash on delivery and with local wallets?+
Yes. Each operation picks its methods: card, cash on delivery and wallets like Yape, Plin, Pix or Nequi. For cash, the customer states the amount paid so the courier brings the right change.
Can I limit my operation to certain zones?+
Yes. You define your coverage by zones on the map, with rates and rules per area. Shipments outside your zone are auto-rejected, avoiding requests you can't fulfill.
